evaluation from 10.16: "kinda slow to activate, lots of alternatives, would take some time to make a decent MVP." the space was already crowded. key components identified: organization (critical and lacking in competitors), privacy implementations, ease of use.

strategic direction: focus on one or two robust applications best for yourself first ("both just useful & good story"), then market based on those. this is part of the broader me model and always-on AI assistant vision where all your context is indexed and retrievable. the life search idea is the query interface for what axon would store.
